Hwo to use GitHub fix?

Recommended Posts

Vire, it must be missing somehow someway. :)

I would just download a new copy of Prestashop to your local computer and upload just the module. After you upload the module login to your BO and go to Modules and you should now see the module and an option to update the module. I just updated mine today.

Seems like i am damn retarded ... i did copy the productcomments in the module folder before the installation, still got the error. I have no idea how to get a running version of the 1.0.6.4 prestashop.

Just to get your instructions right, i should only upload the modules folder on my webspace? Not even the new copy of Prestashop?

Sounds like you are working with a copy of PS provide by your host? If you have a way of uploading files, you could download PS 1.6 RC from here http://www.prestashop.com/en/developers-versions unzip it and just upload the missing module to your web site.

You just need the module. After that, when modules have an update you can do that from Modules in your BO.

Ah, now i got it. Actually i did install the 1.6.0.4 but get the known error:

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module productcomments:
syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR

Anyways i cant see a way to update the modules. I only found the "automaticly search for updates" thing. I did read something about Prestashop will fix this common error over night. So it seems like i have to wait.
