Guid
maybe your hosting has got some kind of restrictions? as far as i remember this host is free and has got a lot of limitations Hi Vekia! Yes, the host is free... I uplaod from localhost and i have now my site on hostinger... everything was fine so far... but when doing paypal checkout this message appears everytime: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@.... and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. -------------- My checklist: - paypal module (last version) - paypal API are correct (check, check, check....) - clear cache - force compile - i tried almost everything i readed on this forum - i tried severals solutions of prestablogs I send 2 messages to hostinger 5 days ago... no answer yet! So i save my presta website files (used filezilla) and DB on my computer. Everytime a try to uplaod those file (using filezilla), at the begining it's ok but after a while... appears severals errors: about cache/compile/smarty; theme/, tools/.... Why 000webhost, a read on this forum that someone had the same problem and solve it transfering the site to this host... (paypal checkout started working!) Sorry for this long text... If possible i send url on private message. Meanwhile, thanks.

PBo34
Thanks a lot Guid! I've lost the day on that problem, as it works from my local dev site, I supposed it could only be a matter of the hostinger environment config. Now I get it. I bet they don't accept it on purpose, as the hosting is free, maybe they don't want to host a functional shop for free. After months of developpement, the last test fails, nobody would drop the project on the last step. So I'll find me some host that is not free? Thanks for your help. Guid
I would like to inform all those who are doing a prestashop website on hostinger server (saving you from a lot of lost searching hours): hostinger is not... accepting API PAYPAL connection for the moment!!! My solution: Well , just change the hosting! (I just did!) By de way, if it is a free host ask them about it before to put yours prestashop website there. (I lost a lot of time cause a didn't knew it before!) Glad to help!
PBo34
I've done that. I got rid of hostinger, where there is no support and lots of things not working properly, on which I've wasted at least 2 or 3 days. My search was for a small site, small price, high quality, high speed, in France or Germany. I've found a host where my site is on SSDs, no traffic limits etc. where they evidently love performance, awesome quality ... for 1€ plus tax per month. Am I allowed to say who this is? On television, when you list 3, it is not considered ad. So I'll give my short list: evxonline, ikoula, nuxit, edis.at . Of course, there are other ones which must be very good. I'm very happy of the change. Now I'll test paypal again, I 'll tell you the result. Don't hesitate to spend 1€ per month to save you from wasting hours and days and getting pissed with database disconnected and in the end paypal blocked.
