Add Field to product

i would like to add a date field to the product. when customer purchase a product they have to select the date before place into the cart.

the date is to let the customer to select the best time to deliver the product.


i'm a newbie in php and i believe it is very difficult to do it.......
anybody know how to do that ?

Change the text "If you want to leave us comment about your order, please write it below."
on the first page of "Check out" procedure..

To something like this: "Please tell us when it's the best time to deliver the product to you"..

i already did that......

did anyone know to set the price base on different unit/price.

for example : A smoke detection device
1 Quantity is $10,
2 Quantities is $18
3 Quantities is $24
4 Quantities is $28

with additional of “compulsory” device parts
1 Quantity is $5
2 Quantities is $10
3 Quantities is $13
4 Quantities is $16

i know it is complicated…..but i hope someone out there can teach me how to configure it…..
