[Solved] How to make a product tax-free in a state that has tax?

I need to be able to make certain products tax-free in a state that is taxed. In BC, Canada certain items are tax-exempt. According to the tax wiki http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/Taxes/ there is no way to do this?

I know in the USA, tax is calculated similar to Canada. Does anyone know a way to make particular products tax-free?

I looked at the post you mentioned and wrote to Tomerg3 but haven't received a reply. I'm building a shop in NJ and, like you, I need to make particular products tax-exempt for NJ residents. Did you find a solution that you would be able share with me?

You'll need to contact Tomer & purchase his tax mod. I'd suggest mentioning this tax issue to him as he had to tweak the code a little to make it work for me.
