The first order shows the product combination details and reference fine, the second has no details or reference and the stock quantity doesn't seem to have gone down. Can anyone help? With Multistore, when you are generating product combinations you need to manually enter the Product Reference for your default combination at the bottom of the page or the details won't show in orders or on the PayPal payment.
