How to disable modules in subcategories

Hello guys,

 

I would appreciate really much if somebody can help me. How can I disable certain modules showed in the right and left column (3 columns template) when a client enters in a category of products in order to show the products in 3 columns. 

In Wordpress is so easy but I don´t find the trick in Prestashop.

I think if you go into your module/configure/manage hooks then either left or right columns you can add exceptions for pages you dont want the module shown

Oh great!! That´s all what I wanted. Simple but hard for noobiess in PrestaShop.

Hiya Milos, I assumed the original poster wanted the side modules to disappear once the customer had clicked on a product.

So if you just select "product" in the exceptions for the module then it will only disappear when viewing products.

I just tried it on my site and the module is visible until you view a product then the module disappears.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong...

Thanks for your answer Vekia. Your help is very valued from Prestashop noobs. I really wanted to show all the modules in the homepage, not in categories just to show all the products in 3 columns when a client clicks on a category.

So may I mark all "exceptions" in hooks menu for each module except  for index??

everything depends on where you want to hide these modules,

if you want to hide them only on category pages - select only categories.
