[SOLVED] Product Images Will Not Upload

I'm new to PrestaShop, having completed my first install yesterday. WOW awesome job guys!!!

Everything has gone extremely well and issue free until now...

After configuring the shop and creating all my categories/subcategories, I've run into what hopefully will be a simple issue to resolve. I can create products using the BO but when I try to upload an image for the product, I just get the default "No image available" image in the Front End. It states that the product image upload was successful at the top and even when you attempt a second upload it says the update was successful but still no image.

The weird thing is that i've had no problems to this point uploading images for my categories and have even tried to use an image I've successfully uploaded for a category.

My Environment: Win 2003 Server - PHP 5.2.8 - MySQL 5

I've made both the img>p and the img>tmp folders have the proper permissions and that PHP is configured as recommended.

My Observations so far...

1. Nothing gets uploaded to the img>tmp folder
2. Nothing gets copied over to the img>tmp folder
3. All of the images i've uploaded for categories exist both in the img>tmp and img>c folders so I assume permissions are ok...
4. If I enable customization so that an image can be uploaded on the front end, it also appears to successfully upload an image but the script leaves off the file extension so the only thing displayed on the product page is a broken link image.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!

p.s. - I have full access to the server and although I can't write PHP scripts, I am comfortable editing them once I'm told where to look and what to change ;-)

I am having a similar problem. Product images will not upload.
Same enviroment as previous poster.
