maniot
Hello, Since some time i am having problems with the smarty cache. Instead of creating folders in the folder /cache/smarty/cache/ smarty only creates a lot of files in the form of ::blocktopmenu^product_1_2_2_0_0_0_0_3013^71c0c22aea14fe5558cad51dc3e6ce1fda1a18df.blocktopmenu.tpl.php in the folder cache/smarty/compile/ i have the same problem. I've tried to disable the shop, disable cache and deleting all files in the folders except index.php but after bringing everything back in its original state smarty starts creating files instead of folders again. The site functions normally. Anyone knows what's happening and how to solve it? regards, Maniot
Carolina Custom Designs
There is nothing to solve. That is normal PS behavior. Marty Shue
maniot
Hy Marty, In my opinion it is not normal ps bevaviour. Before i had several directories in the cache/smarty/cache directory and now i have only files in the same directory. In don't see this behaviour in other ps installations. regards, Maniot
vekia
it's normal, this is how caching engine works in prestashop 1.5.x btw. why you think it's a problem, does it affect something on your website? believe us, it's not a problem...
maniot
Hi Vekia, No, it doesn't seem to affect the site but when i look at other sites it is different and that worries me. To better explain i have made 2 screenshots from 2 different which are both PS 1.
