Remoing the number from url?

How do I remove the numbers in the friendly urls in the best way possible?

by default it's not possible, only with modifications (overrides - manual, or with module)

for example:

I thought it worked, but apparently it doesn't find anything when clicking on products now. What should I do??

Everything is totally wack now that I tried to uninstall and fix it. I installed it back, but it's still all weird. I can access a category page but not my homepage. It says "page-not-found" in the url and not even an error shows up.

I copied the "schema of URLs" from a functioning install and now it works again. Pew <3 

Also figured out that the issue of the product-pages not showing up, was that I had missed on that first module-page that they adviced to remove .html after route to products.

So now it all works!
