holle75
Hi There, i used vers. 1.5.3 and was able to put html code right into the translation fields. Now i updated to vers. 1.5.6.2 and all my html code isn´t displayed anymore. in en.php the text with the codes is still there but the html code is stripped when displayed. What changed from vers. 1.5.3 to 1.5.6? this question is not about the sense to use code in the translation fields. I have to use tons of translated text with very different links and markups on my page so doing this in the tpl would be a nightmare. any thoughts? best H. El Patron
it might be time to just give it up and place the html code in the .tpl file. this will make you compliant and not loose the change every new release. yes?
holle75
El Patron, sorry, i just found your answer right now by visiting this Topic again. Follow up with Mail notification doesn´t seem to work on my account on the Prestashop forum. Well, you are right but in my case that means a hell lot of code in more than 15 pages. And i´m still do not like if "somebody", in this case Prestashop, tells me what to do and what not :-D ... i´m not an apple product user (No offense to anybody, just a joke!). My workaround right now is to put the text with very different html tags for three languages right in my custompage.tpl´s and with {if $lang_iso == "xx"} trigger the appropriate language. Does anybody have another solution? thank you Edited March 10, 2014 by holle75 (see edit history)
