cleaner Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Hello, I have noticed slowness on my shop (PS 1.5.5) during translations, template adjustments etc. Slowness is clear in BO and FO. Sometimes connection between me and BO. fails completely. Hosting company / myself have pinged my server and results were normal. I noticed Admin panel advices me to perform following tasks: URL rewriting Browsers cache & compression Smarty optimization Combine, compress and cache Shop in use Index rebuilt after update . htaccess is ok Are these related to a slowness of shop and is it safe just to perform these suggestions?
