Master filter for categories.

Hello

 

I manage webshop which sells road racing parts. I would like to set up "master" filter for categories. Idea is that customer can specify bike and then he/she can go through categories and it shows only bike specific parts. All other parts what are not meant for defined bike are hidden. Is this kind of filter available? I have searched for this kind of filter but have not found any. If there is this kind of filter available then please give me link I will be thankful. Ideally the filter has to be drop-down list.

Right now I am using step-by-step categories filter and it does half the job what I need.

I am using prestashop 1.4 version.
