Bill Dalton Posted March 1, 2014 Share Posted March 1, 2014 ballashop, the mail system in Prestashop is a script that runs right away and sends the mail to your host. It cannot hold mail. Any delay in delivery must be with your host, or the mail system you use to receive your mail. Just letting you know so you don't waste time fixing something that isn't broken. OVH I don't think I have another script running the site is in maintenance mode, I was doing tests with PayPal module and sandbox (works fine), change e-mail templates and yesterday I wanted to do one last test before putting it online!!! vekia Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 well, prestashop mail is based on php script if you use simple mail() function there is a chance that your mailbox host treats mail as an "untrusted" mail, so your SMTP server deffered this email. (Deferred mail is simply mail that was unable to deliver to the sender and has been added to the mail queue) it's worth to check outgoing mails log on your host, where the prestashop is installed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the same thing happens with that program ... that way you would know for sure that the problem is with your host. El Patron Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 do you use a different email domain than your shop domain, i.e. shop email = [email protected] not email@yorudomain that always fouls things up unless you set up proper mail server settings in dns...google pop for example... but as stated twice above...ps will send the email, it does not run as a mail server look on your hosting account mail server...you most likely will see your email sitting there until your hosting mail server decides to send it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried to uninstall the module and reinstall e-mail notification, but don't work anyway. You could ask your host to change IP, however it may be possible that all the IP's are black listed from that host. If that is the case the solution is to change host.
