touchdez
I have been informed by my host that I have exceeded the database limit and it seems that the ps_product_download database is causing the problem, with millions of entries. I have under 200 virutal products. What do I have to do to reduce this?

touchdez
Log into your cPanel, select phpMyAdmin, select the folder your shop is in, scroll down to ps_product_download, then delete the files. Hope this helps. Edited April 14, 2014 by touchdez (see edit history)
ilovekutchi.com
Same problem here! Why does this happens?! It's a crazy amount of junk data!
touchdez
I have no idea, but thankfully I was able to delete all of it, I re-uploaded all of the files, making sure that is all that is there. It took a bit of time, though. When I upload new files now, I check the database at the same time.

It took a bit of time, though. When I upload new files now, I check the database at the same time. But even without uploading files this happens!! I have several virtual products with no associated file. For one of those products I just deleted 150mb of useless rows from that table. It must be a bug in some php file... touchdez
As I didn't get an answer about this before, this was the best I could do. I agree it must be some bug...
