[SOLVED] Changing the title of blocklayered (layered navigation)

Hi folks,

 

I want to change the name of my blocklayered module in the FO from 'catalog' to 'product filters', however when editing the template file blocklayered.tpl, it makes no difference at all.

 

from

    <h4 class="title_block">{l s='Catalog' mod='blocklayered'}</h4>
 

to

<h4 class="title_block">{l s='Product Filters' mod='blocklayered'}</h4>

or even:

<h4 class="title_block">Product Filters</h4>

 

Does this title get dynamically squeezed in there or something?

 

Force recompile is on, cache cleared - just not seeing any changes...

 

Any ideas?

Have you had a look at

Back office 》 Translations 》Installed modules 》To see if the text exists there

I did actually, but my host has limited the max_input_vars to 1500 and it needs 2700+ so I've requested that limit change....so yes, hopefully the answer will lay in there...

A little suggestion for your solarskunk site too - ditch the red nav bar - try a dark green instead - it's a lot less stark on the eyes...

Yup - it was indeed in those translations for installed modules - thanks!

Hello again, you definately have to adjust the text in "translations" I have had to change the module myself the same way on another site.

 

Thank you for the tip about the colour of the nav bar, I really appreciate that, will change when I get home.

Phew! Found it. Tip: Expand all then do a FIND function of the text.
