Am moving to Inmotion's VPS and need your help in understanding the steps i need to follow for a smooth transition in moving my store.I currently have Prestashop Version 1.2.2 installed with about 8000 products. Need to know how to move the store over.Cheers
TropischBruin
In a nutshell:Make a backup of you current database via phpMyAdmin to you local drive.Backup your template if you use a 3rd party template.Backup your other files especialy the image directory.Do a clean install on you new hoster.Empty the newly created database and import your backup database via phpMyAdmin.Copy the image directory back.Login via you BO. phantomeye
Maybe i should move to your hosting service, coz im so sick and tired of the con-job godaddy is. Its always slow and they always have an excuse !!! The only thing i like that they have is the Traffice Blazaer service. Hey did you get a chance to check out my site .Thanks for your inputCheers
TropischBruin
My hosting is in The Netherlands with VDX.nl.I'm not sure if that would be wise if you come from the US.You shop looks OK for a Haloween-shop I'll guess :cheese:
