[SOLVED] Blockspecials doesn't work anymore

Hi, I have a problem with blockspecials module.

 

On my multi-shop (local) installation it correctly works on two shops but not on the third one.

 

Instead that showing my web site, the browser just shows a blank page with "specials" in the upper left corner. Deactivating the module (or removing it's hook form right and/or left columns) the site work correctly again.

 

My php error log shows the following:

 

PHP Fatal error:  Cannot use object of type Product as array in C:\xampp\htdocs\prestashop\cache\smarty\compile\74\35\82\7435825a8577b5fff65008b3805444dc8df671c3.file.blockspecials.tpl.php on line 50

 

I already deactivated/reactivated and uninstalled/reinstalled the module, cleared browser and smarty cache, but the problem is still there.

 

The problem just came up today; until yesterday everything was normal; I only activated the mail alert module but I deactivated again due this problem, but nothing changed.

 

Someone can help, please?

Can you share the site's url? Also, are you using a custom template? It looks like the module is using the wrong variable name

Hi Nemo1, thanks for your reply.

Unfortunatelly I'm still on local instalaltion so I can't share a url. Yes, I'm using a custom template and probably this is the problem. To be honest, it's probable that the problem was there also before, but I noticed it only now because I was concentrated on the other two shops.

By the way, I tried to copy the blockspecials.tpl file from another template and it works (there are just a couple of "cosmetic" issues to correct). So, the problem is in the module in the custom template.

 

Since now it's working, I'll mark this thread as solved.
