garyjj127
Hi Is there any way to change the "availabilty" message for a product until a combination is chosen? For example, I have a shoe available in size 3-9, when the customer views the item, the availability shows for the default combination (which is a size 3). If there's no stock of size 3, the message shows "out of stock in this size", which may be a little confusing for the customer, and they might think the message applies to the whole product, rather than just the selected size. I previously changed the availability message to say "Availability (choose size first):", but when it's a product with no combinations (like a bag, or a pair of sunglasses), it looks a bit odd! Thanks in advance!

garyjj127
Hi Thanks for the quick reply. I have that box checked already, but some of my products are set to allow orders if they're out of stock (I add a message "x days" in the Displayed text when back-ordereding is allowed box. So for instance, say the size 3 is out of stock but available to order, the message will say "availability: 5 days", so if size 3 is the default shown size, it may make the customer think that it applies to the whole stock before they select a size, and click away. If there's no way around it, then it's not the end of the world, but I'd rather not lose potential sales if possible.
