Mallee Boy
Hi, to all US and European users, i have a question.I am trying to decide whether to integrate shipping insurance in the check out of my Australian website for International customers.Tell me, as a customer, is shipping insurance important to you? Should I include it automatically? let International Customers opt in or let them opt out?Would appreciate any thoughts on this.I don't want to lose business because of the lack of shipping insurance if its important to our overseas customers and I don't want to include it in shipping costs if most US and European Customers don't want it or don't feel they need it - It raises shipping by $8 AUD, by the way. TropischBruin
To my knowledge is the shop responcable for delivering the order in good condition. This means that the extra insurance bought by the customer is not necessery. This is how the law is in The Netherlands.
Mallee Boy
Thanks Norman, thats extremely helpful. So, insurance is really protecting the shop, not the customer.
