HELP, Slow backend and Frontend

Recommended Posts

Good morning

gmetrix gave up the first time but on second visit you scored this

http://gtmetrix.com/reports/aboutyourkin.com/xpQQHx2Q

pingdom gives you something similar

Have you tried googles "webmaster Tools" to see what they say

I am by know means an expert but it seems to be a server problem, the best one to ask is dh42 (a Moderator and very clever at SEO)

Hi Buzzflies,

Just tested it and seems like any normal site to me at this time. Did the host change anything already?

Otherwise, do you use tags? If so,please disable the tags module and see if this seriously gives improvement or not. I once walked into this and the site in question improved from 2 minutes to 2 seconds loading time. Biggest problem was just after editing/adding products (probably there was some searching/adding of tags that slowed down the process.)

Just a try...

My $0.02,

pascal

I think my hosting co. did do something, I'm waiting on a return responce from them. From http://gtmetrix.com/ I went from a D rating to a B rating.

I did disable the tag module, plus a couple others. When I added the sideshow module that came with the default theme, my pageload went from 85 down to 79-80 (using gtetrix)  Is there another sideshow module that load faster.

Thank You
