Zenhs Posted February 20, 2014 Share Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) Using cPanel "Resource Usage" I could see my website was occasionally being limited. I did some tests nothing I did on the Front Office caused any problems although I could get it to 25% CPU usage which seems high all the same. In the Back Office all I had to do was go to Catalog > Products, open some of them and I was at 100% CPU and my account would be automatically limited for a little while. At the moment there's 78 products and very few visitors so I'd expect shared hosting to be ok. PrestaShop™ 1.5.6.0 Current Usage Description: Usage Limit CPU Usage: 0.0% 100% I/O usage: 0 1024 Entry Processes: 0 25 Number of processes: 0 100 Physical Memory Usage: 41.71M 1.00G Virtual Memory Usage: 0.00k 1.00G Host advertises as Hybrid SSD & SAS RAID 10 Storage, 2.67Ghz (1 Core) only 10 customers per CPU, there are no more than 240 accounts per server. Any advice, is my installation using way too much resources as I suspect or is this normal.
