Where can I alter HOOK_LEFT_COLUMN?

There is some javascript in the left column, which needs altering

But where is the tpl file for the hook_left?

 

It is not in header.tpl, or footer.tpl

There is no .tpl for "hook_left".

 

You have {$HOOK_LEFT} in header.tpl and .tpl in this hook are all .tpl from modules which are assigned to this hook.

what you mean by alter hook left?

i suppose that you just want to modify the modules attached to this section, am I right?

if so, go to modules > positions - search for displayLeftColumn modules list

you will see there list of modules attached to left column hook.

unfortunately, you have to check these modules one by one to fix / change  / find  code you want.

Found the module
