Lucas Cerdan
Hello PrestaShop community, Some of you requested to be able to test our latest release but couldn't install it (yet) on your server. In order to make PrestaShop always more accessible, I'm glad to present our latest tool: A special version of EasyPHP DevServer with PrestaShop 1.6.0.3 pre-installed - download here EasyPHP DevServer + PrestaShop is a all-in-one package with a ready-to-use PrestaShop : the easiest way to discover the new version of PrestaShop and, for developers, to develop themes and modules. This package includes : PrestaShop 1.6.0.3 beta EasyPHP DevServer 14.1 This is a very practical solution for those who didn't know how to setup a local environment. NOTE: This means PrestaShop will run on your computer (Windows only), but cannot be accessed over the Internet: this is for development and test purposes only. Looking forward to hearing more and more feedbacks!

dpatty
I tried installing this and it works but is incredibly slow. Was not expecting that on a local install. I tried using file system for caching but that did not help. no time right now to try installing memcache. Any other ideas to speed this up a bit
