prestashopperXtreme
I have a scenario where Someone can buy a product in USA, and I want that product shipped using a Carrier like UPS. I have that working. But I also have international customers. I want to have that same product shipped outside the USA. How can I set that up? So if a customer with the address in Brazil, for example, can have the shipping calculated correctly. I have the formula to calculate the shipping cost. How do I set it up. Thanks so much for the help!
NemoPS
Prestashop version? You have to setup shipping ranges and zones Have a look at this http://nemops.com/prestashop-shipping-zones-countries/#.UwHYC_k7ur0
prestashopperXtreme
Thanks so much for your reply! I really appreciate it. I did that and it helped tremendously. Can you help me with one more hurdle? I have prestashop setup, I created a Carrier and assigned a South American Zone. My Shop is located in USA. I have a wharehouse in usa and some of my products are in USA. I want to use the setup that you helped me with when shipping from USA to South America. But I also have a wharehouse in South America, and have some products located in South America. When the user with an address of South America and Product is in South America I want a particular carrier to be used. When a product is in USA (USA Wharehouse), and the address is in South America then use another carrier. If the user address is in USA and product in USA (USA Wharehouse) use UPS-FEDEX.Sorry about the confusion. But thanks so much for all the help. I feel closer then ever! NemoPS
I see,I think case I believe you might want to have a look at advanced stock management, where you can setup different warehouses for a single product I have a tut on that as well on my site! prestashopperXtreme
Everything works awesome. Now I just need one more insight. The User with South America Address has placed in his cart a product from the USA Warehouse and the South America Warehouse. Two carriers appear in checkout, which is correct, one Carrier that handles USA to SOUTH AMERICA, and the other Carrier that handles SOUTH AMERICA WAREHOUSE product in SOUTH AMERICA. The problem is that the carriers have radio buttons beside each one, I want them both selected automatically because that is the only option the user can have to ship the products. Both need to be selected and both need to apply their rates.
NemoPS
Have you tried preferences -> orders -> allow multishipping? Are you using the default theme?
prestashopperXtreme
Thanks for the reply! The shipping option does not solve the problem unfortunately. It only allows the products in the cart to be shipped to multiple addresses, BUT Still only allows for choosing ONLY 1 CARRIER, with radio buttons. Do you think I need a plugin?
