prestashopninja
Hello, At a first glance, the module seems to be transplanted manually to a block for which there is no module template. For example, if the module is hooked into displayLeftColumn hook (the screenshot is partial, but it seems so) you will get this error because paypal usa module doesn't have a hook method for displayLeftColumn. If you could send a web address or a bigger screenshot letting us to get to understand the context and what result you want to achieve there, we could be of much more help.

fmsenterprises
Ok, I'm having the same problem. I've searched all over google and have tried a few fixes and I completely understand the problem but don't understand why I have it. In the paypal module it has the option to display on the products page. I also found the hook and position for it, so it should "be able to be in that position" or on that hook. So below are my settings: 1. I have two sites and it is not working on either so I am only going to focus on my production site which is running prestashop(PS)1.5.6.2 (default theme) and paypal USA v1.3.3. I have a beta site for PS1.6.0.5 which does not show the error but doesn't display the paypal express checkout either. 2. Paypal configured with a paypal express account with live api information. Paypal works at checkout. 3. The hook the module is in is at the footer of the products page Things I have tried so far: 1. Uninstalling/Re-installing paypal module in the back office. 2. FTPing/Updating clean paypal module 3. Configuring paypal module to show on products page in the paypal module 4. Checking and double checking paypal hooks and it's properties 5. Adding paypal module to ./themes/default/modules (prior to this it was only showing up in /modules) 6. Viewing issue in "manage hooks" live edit So I thought I had made progress at some point right after uploading "clean" module, I ran live edit and saw the module there at the products footer like it's supposed to be without the error, looked like it was fixed. But then went into my site a couple of times and the error came back and re-uploading the module did not fix it again. I know I only have six steps up there but I think I've done more troubleshooting than this AND I've done these things multiple times "just in case" I've been working on this and searching for answers for a long time now, I'm starting to think it's not "supposed" to work. I'm starting a fresh install on another beta site to see what happens. Any help would greatly be appreciated. This is an awesome product!
fmsenterprises
So I was finally able to install a fresh prestashop 1.5.6.2 and installed the paypal module. No errors after configuring the module, but also no display. I made sure the module was in the productsfooter hook by running live edit, it's there, but it looks as if there just isn't anything to display there. Why I have an error on my production site I still don't know, except a theory. I did try and upgrade to 1.6.0.5 previously but had to revert for personal reasons. So I believe the answer is, even though there is a hook for it, a radio button in the module saying it will display on the products page, I believe there isn't anything to display. I would love if someone else can confirm they tried to upgrade their shop, reverted, then got the same error. I am going to try and upgrade this test shop to 1.6.0.5 for other testing purposes, maybe I will try and revert it at a later date and see if I get the same error, I'm willing to bet I am. I will check up on this post to see if anybody else has any findings. Thanks!

RickyKidd
Thanks, FMS! I'm running the default on 1.5.6.2 and had no problem finding the hook under productfooter and removing it. The text immediately disappeared. So I was finally able to install a fresh prestashop 1.5.6.2 and installed the paypal module. No errors after configuring the module, but also no display. I made sure the module was in the productsfooter hook by running live edit, it's there, but it looks as if there just isn't anything to display there.
