pikelo Posted February 14, 2014 Share Posted February 14, 2014 Hello, I have a webshop that after we sell a product, this product does need consumables to work along its life (i.e. printer & ink). We valorate our customers and turst and we want to make this ink cheaper for who purchased also the initial product (printer) from our shop. So what we thought is a authomatic system that can apply a %discount to secondary items (ink) by checking if this customers have purchased the primary item from us too (printer). My idea is, make a "Spacial clients grup" when they order the primari product from our shop, authomatically?? I really do not know if its possible. In future orders (or at the same order than printer), if they get inks, apply a discount authomatically.. So as summarize what I need is an authomatic system that check if the customer is buying or have bought a primary item to apply discount authomatic the the secondary items. How could I do this? prestashopninja Posted February 14, 2014 Share Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) Hello, Since you are not talking about a conditional discount within the same cart context, I think the only way to achive the result you desire would be to have a simple custom module which will add clients who brought the printer to a list (not necessarily a separate customer group) and check against the list whenever somebody orders inks.
