Cash payment

In the shop I'm creating there is possibilitie to get the products yourself and so to pay in the fysical store (cash)

But I only find the module "cash on delivery" (onder rembours in Dutch) and this module is not editable  (f.e. to change the name or the picture)

How to create a payment-facility "payment in cash "?

Looking in to it.

But the way to get there is a bit tricky (odd)

Go to the cheque-module and click configure.

On the bottom-right you find something like "manage translation"

Click on the flag of your choice.

Go to the module CashOnDelivery and then I can change the translation. (all entries !! )

(Only the image can't be changed, yet )(but I will look in the img-dirs for it)

Because the module "COD" has no configuration-link you must take this work-around.

Also the translations (in the localisation-menu) are not usefull.

I explained a bit how I done it, perhaps it's cusefull for other forummembers

it's the same page as page with translations that you see when you click on flag on module configuration page.

the folowing sceenshots shows that you get different pages :

the "normal"-way : no string cash is found

The workaround-way string c ash foiund => module cashondelivery

Maybe they are the same in later versions of prestashop, but in 1.5.5 they are diffferent !

How to acces the "module translations" ( I can't remember I read about it in the documentation guide) if no configuration of the module is provided!!??

(COD has no configuration-possibilty, compared to other modules in which you can access the module-translations; but in the case of the Module COD You must use the workaround)
