mlerman
So I have tried almost every fix/bug to fix this issue out there. I transferred my prestashop from myolddomain.com to mynewdomain.com. Everything transferred smoothly like pictures, user database, etc. The only thing wrong now is when clicking on the toolbar where "Home, About Us, Etc." is it re-directs back to the old domain or displays a 404 page error. I have tried to change the "PS_SHOP_DOMAIN" as well as the SSL domain but the do not exist under PS_Configuration. I only saw where it existing further down the PHPmyadmin list under "PS_Shop_URL". The value was set correctly under this database. Also on the backend of prestashop i did make sure the URI was set to "/". I just do not get why im being re-directed to my old domain once clicking the links. Prestashop v 1.5.6.
El Patron
hi, you probably just need to recreate your .htaccess with new domain names. (assuming you already changed the shop url in the back office) try this back office-->preferences--->seo & urls (this depends on frinedly url on or off): turn off (or on) friendly urls, save, then turn on (or off) friendly url's. (this recreates the .htaccess file) clear your browse cache and cookies and navigate to your front office.
