Iamcaptain
Yeah, it's easy.Use the search to look for basic things like this though.I searched for "how to remove powered by prestashop" and found it in 3 seconds.http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/9345/help_installation___upgrade/how_to_remove_powered_by_prestashop_form_the_footer_and_center_it
Masam
Hi MircoYes... Goto modules directory then search folder blockvariouslinks then make a change in blockvariouslinks.tpl file. Here you can find Powered by Prestashop. Quite easy and simple. Cheers Masam
zomigi
Related to this question -- does it violate the license of PrestaShop to remove the "Powered by PrestaShop" references in the footer, emails, etc? I read the license at http://www.opensource.org/licenses/osl-3.0.php and item 6 says:"6) Attribution Rights. You must retain, in the Source Code of any Derivative Works that You create, all copyright, patent, or trademark notices from the Source Code of the Original Work, as well as any notices of licensing and any descriptive text identified therein as an "Attribution Notice." You must cause the Source Code for any Derivative Works that You create to carry a prominent Attribution Notice reasonably calculated to inform recipients that You have modified the Original Work."To me, this sounds like you're violating the license when you remove the Powered by PrestaShop text, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm or deny?
Nancy Hiwatari
I think the same than zomigi, it is a violation to the copyright , in the case you remove it, you have to put a button or something with a link BACK to the main page of prestashop in order to give them the credit
