product view disappeared

Recommended Posts

It might have been discussed before (thought I haven't found it) but I'm having this issue with the very latest PS version I installed yesterday.

Somehow, the product details view is gone for good. I have deleted the default products from the BO (I haven't touched the database) and inserted some new products. Now I click on a product from the homepage and it goes to a blank page with not an error message displayed.  Need real help!!!

I haven't tried increasing the memory size asking to my ISP, but I believe it will not take me anywhere because the shop is actually empty. It has 5 products with only a name and no description whatsoever, I'm only doing css modifications, so I believe it's a major issue/bug.

The problem seems to be with the tpl file as the error message is thrown for different smarty scripts:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1024 bytes) in /home/mondodel/public_html/shop/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatelexer.php on line 460
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 76807 bytes) in /home/mondodel/public_html/shop/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php on line 226

Would you attach your product.tpl and ProductController.php files?

Regards.

Robin.

I have deleted the attributes but they are still showing up in the configuration of blocklayered module, even after uninstalling and installing again. how can I get rid of them?

Please don't abandon me on the other major issue, i.e. products details not showing up. Thank you

I have solved by asking my ISP to incirease PHP memory limit. Now it works, but this makes me wonder: if 32M was not enought for a few bogey products with not even an image attached, will 128M be enough when the shop will have hundreds of real products?
