hawaii350
This is still driving me crazy. I'm setting up an ipod repair site and I really need a way to allow for discounts when they get 2 parts together. At first I was trying to set it up using accesories but there does not seem to be a way to give them a discount when they buy the accesory with the base product. Then I was gonna try to set it up using the combinations within a product but that forces me to define a quanitity for each combo it seems, so that does not work at allI'll use another example to describe what I am trying to do. Say I was selling computers and with that computer a customer can choose to add a monitor or mouse or keyboard etc. Ideally they could choose it rom a drop down list and say whether they would like to include it or not and it would look at the quanitity of the mice or monitors, not a quanity set for that specific combo. And to make it that much more complicated you would like to give a discount when they buy a mouse with their new computer.Hopefully there is a solution out there. It seems like something that is very much lacking.
hawaii350
Another problem, I have them select their model of ipod ie 80gb 120gb or 160gb to determine which battery they need however the 80gb and 120gb use the same battery so I'd need to find a way for it to draw from the same product inventory. All getting very messy.
