Tax exempt module not working

I recently upgraded from Prestashop 1.5.6.1 to 1.5.6.2 and the "Tax exempt" module stopped working. Now all my EU customers, including those within the *tax_exempt froup are charged the VAT taxes.

 

The information from the marketplace (http://addons.prestashop.com/fr/modules-facturation-compta/5809-tax-exempt.html) shows that this module is compatible with up to version 1.5.3.1 but, since it has been working under version 1.5.6.1, I wonder if there is something I can do on my side to make it work again.

I would definitely contact the developer and ask him. Maybe they know what to do and can give you directions, maybe they want to upgrade their module anyway and will seize the opportunity

Deleting class_index.php from the cache directory solved the problem. I now know that whenever a class doesn't get overridden we have to do so.
