Blank site following adding of translation

Hi guys,

I'm just putting together my first prestashop site and have installed the Turkish translation (following the wiki's instructions). Once it's installed it works perfectly in the admin and all works as I would have assumed, however if you choose the Turkish translation (by clicking on the flag in on the default theme) all you get it a blank page and the site is stuck on the index.php?id_lang=4 page.

You can get back to the English version then by changing the 4 to a 1. I can't seem to work out why I'm getting a blank page.

I have searched the forums a little but can't find anything so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS: the site is completely vanilla at the moment - all I've added is the Turkish translation pack.
