benjamin utterback
If this is hosted local I would first try to do a fresh install or use another localhost like xampp or wamp , Here is a tutorial. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/215562-installing-prestashop-on-your-local-machine-tutorial/ There also be an issue configuration with the EasyPHP files, check the main configuration files and let me know what you find. max57450
Hello, thanks for your answer, i found the problem : It is an alias in the httpd.conf file of easyphp which redirect the modules path. To resolve it, you have to put a '#, symbol in front of the line 'alias /modules "${path}/modules", Thanks, bye !!
benjamin utterback
Hey Max, I'm glad to hear that. and FYI EasyPHP will have a special version optimized for PrestaShop, with v1.6 preinstalled. It's undergoing testing at the moment but I will provide more information as it comes in. Thanks for joining the forum and I hope to see you again soon. Cheers,

benjamin utterback
Yes, but it is not released yet. You can do a couple things, you can follow the link for xampp instructions. Or you can download and install the PrestaShop BitNami Stack. https://bitnami.com/stack/prestashop Here are instructions for that. Just make sure the ports you use are open, http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/268475-locally-install-prestashop-the-easy-way-with-bitnami/
