How does the GIT updating work`? Git hosts more actual files ...

Hi

 

I subscribed to the GIT project of prestashop a long time ago and I receive daily imporvisations or bug fixes of files via email alert.

 

Now there is a hint of a new paypal V3.6.5

In our BO there is V3.6.4 and Prestashop does not inform in the module section of BO about a new version.

How come?

What is the relation between the GIT hosted versions and those offered by the live updating service?
