smarty problem after upgrade / how to fix it?

Hi

 

I just 1 click upgraded from 1.5.4.0 and things are ok apart from a smarty error message showing in red as a warning message big red X.

 

I don't understand this, so please take a look at the attached screen captures to see if it is something obvious?

 

I have the addon module 'smarty cache cleaner' which seems to be working well? So the problem is what exactly?

 

Big thank you to all who helped me with the backup concerns prior to upgrading.

I can't see the error.

 

But errors with Smarty, usually you can just clean the cache and everything goes back to normal.

 

To clean Smarty Cache: just click the button Clear the Smarty Cache or in the Prestashop Files go to paste Cache/Smarty/Cache and delete everything except for index.php, then go to Cache/Smarty/Compile and delete everything except for index.php.

My back office says smarty optimization X in red letters! 

 

I have cleaned the cache using the cache cleaner module but it does nothing to remove the red error message.

 

Any ideas folks?
