Required attributes - help

Hi all. 

 

I have had a few customers which have not seen the attributes and the options for my attributes, so what i need is to make my attributes required or just add a javascript alert when the attributes have not been changes from default. 

I have seen this on presta-changeo - http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/content/7-default-attribute-alert , but i can't change my product.tpl and ajax-cart.js so are there any other solution to make attributes required or can someone help me change my product.tpl and ajax-cart.js the correct way like the on on presta-changeo. 

 

I am running PS 1.4.11

I have the same problem and I saw this.

 

But it's not much good if you can't edit your product.tpl and ajax-cart.js - sorry

 

I find it surprizing that there isn't an integrated option for this. It seems like a common problem.

 

I'd be happy to see a simpler solution that edititng the tpl and js

I can edit it, but i really don't where to put it in on the correct line, and i don't know the margins etc. further more my files vary a bit from the one on presto chargeo. 

Thats why i need more help or maybe one which can do it.
