Disabling the order confirmation, vouchers, coupons and more ...

Hello!

 

I am setting up a shop for virtual products that are free to download but you have to be registered. This seems to be not supported by the shop.

 

I had to use lots of css to "display: none" many things like the cart page is always demanding an adress - don't need that. As you can imagine there is lots more ...

 

Now my main problem is that though I disabled all (!) "send email to customer" in the status configuration for orders - still there is alway an order confirmation including an invoice send to the customer ... I don't want that at all (I know I can modify this mail but I want to disable it)!

 

A second thing is that on the "my account" page there and the shopping cart page I always get links and blocks showing options or results for vouchers and for coupons - I have no vouchers or coupons in my price rules and I don't want any hint of that apppearing anywhere in the front office...

 

plz help, I tried everything that I can think of with no result ...

p.s.: all the information out there is seems to be based on PS 1.4 and not the current version ...

Hi!

Have you removed the email notifications from all payment methods too? Might be that. If it doesn't work via back office in the order status, you'll have to change each modules'.php file i believe.

 

Second thing: you need to edit my-account.tpl, located in the theme folder, and get rid of those unwanted entries
