I am slowly building my site with little knowledge and trying to learn as i go.

 

My site is www.loco1hobby.net

 

Right now i have en and ja language

 

however i want to seperate these sites for several reasons.

 

Many modules do not allow a seperate image for other languages.

 

Example on the slider i want different images on the slider and advertising bars for Japanese.

Same reason for links of these advert banners as i often setup search links to a specific group of products but search links do not work on each others language.

 

I only want certain payment methods for ja and en.

 

 

so some questions i need help with.

 

I want these stores to share stock levels and I understand if i enable this all items will reset to 0. Is this so? It`s not a big deal i can handle a Saturday adding all the stock in again.

 

Will this have an impact on un action-ed orders though?

or reserved orders?

 

 

So i setup a multistore for www.loco1hobby.net/jp

 

However now in the back office i select store as loco1hobbyjp to edit and it keeps jumping back to loco1hobby so i cannot remove en language and start making a separate configuration.

 

i have cleared cache and cookies etc but it seems to not allow me to modify anything for this site.

 

It is enabled in multistore menu.

Have you assigned the correct localisation for each store, eg. default language etc?

hi yes,

 

 

randomly though after like 3 hours it started working maybe server was still doing stuff slowly......
