Adding order status change comments

Hello! I am importing my old OSCommerce shop into Prestashop and while most OSC features have their counterparts in Prestashop there is one missing. In OSC when you change Order status you can add comment to it and send email to customer (all in one step). This raises 2 problems for me. First is that I can't import those comments because prestashop doesn't have this feature, and second thing is that I really loved this feature and would like to have it in prestashop. The only solution to commenting status changes that I see is to do this in 2 steps: First change status and then write message about it but this way makes it only more complicated and confusing for customer (1st email about status change and 2nd with explanation). Also it makes it hard for administrator to keep up with information about order status history (I can see that status was changed but I don't know why).

Is there any option or module where I can connect order statuses with messages or simply add custom text to email that is automatically sent when I change order status?
