nudecoffee
I had the website on the go perfectly. Until I tried to transfer the URL over to a different one. Basically, I bought a new one and changed the setup in the back shop to the new URL which is www.hypecoffee.com but now I can't log into the back shop and the URL doesn't work. it comes up with a message saying:- Index of CGI/bin and then when you click on it. ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. No idea what i am supposed to do.HELP Thanks

nudecoffee
Yeah I had exampleA.com and it worked fine. I then wanted to change URLS and the Shop name - so I went onto the back office and changed the preferences - SEO and URLs Tab to the exampleB.com domain. I have not moved the shop between hosts. I have only parked and changed the domain. But this issue seems to have cropped up and i'm not sure how to fix it. Bit scared that I can't access the back office.Thnaks for your help I should also say that I have bought the new URL with my host - and they have pointed the namservers to the right place. vekia
okay, so now, when you trying to open exampleB.com (new domain) in browser you see this error: ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. and when you're trying to open old domain - what you see? are you 100% sure that your domain is correctly parked? and everything is fine with DNS propagation? Yeh, it seems to be correctly parked and everything. The hosting co did all for me, and i've checked it. Any ideas?
vekia
strange, for me it looks like problem with host configuration (like permissions-chmod, or privileges-chown)
