leecharles
Hi everyone, I am now at a stage where I am trialling my Merchant gateway before my site goes live. I have been able to find lots of tutorials to help me along the way but I am now stuck! There seems to be no way of configuring a UK postcode. So when a customer checks out there is no postcode field, when they go to payment page they have to remember to fill in postcode or else the payment does not go through. Has anyone found a way to solve this? Regards, Lee UK
karlb00
Did you find an answer? I'm having the same issue and can't find a simple (one that doesn't cost a fortune!) answer to what you would have thought was an obvious problem. I only sell/deliver to certain postcodes but as it stands I have to put notices everywhere on the website telling people this and refund money to those that can't read an order anyway. Not the most professional way of doing it. I know that other platforms do this as standard, why doesn't Prestashop?
leecharles
Hi Karlb00, yes I found my solution. I was able to configure the address field for guest checkout to include the post code field. this when filled in brings it across to the card payment checkout correctly. I use royal mail for my shipping which are same rates for all uk? regards, lee if you need any info oin what I did let me know?
