Dahl99
Hi, I've been trying to change the order of my products but to no avail. I can change them in the BO by dragging a product from say the bottom to the top of the list but on the actual website these changes are not showing. Any ideas. Thanks
Paulito
Good morning I am not sure what you mean, so, have you looked at this: Back office > Preferences > Products http://screencast.com/t/YWOImusImiGn Paul
Dahl99
Hi Paul, in the BO if I go to catalog/products you get the list of products. I can move a product from say position 10 to position 1 but this change does not appear in the FO (website). I get the same if I go to catalog/products/category. I'm using PS 1.5.4.1 Dahl
vekia
because order of products depends on option that you selected on page mentioned by Paul above. you've got this option selected?
Dahl99
I've got it set as "Product add date" which doesn't change it. However just changed "Default order method" to descending and that's worked within a category but not on the Home Featured.
vekia
homefeatured is a separate module. if you want to change position of product in homefeatured module you have to change module positions in "home" category. option mentioned by Paul doesn't work for this addon. it works only for product listings in categories. Dahl99
My apologies I meant "Featured Products"
El Patron
home featured module uses internal cache...so it will (until manual or self clear cache) at times display things incorrectly. if you are on 1.5, then you can do this to clear cache http://screencast.com/t/jHUUj8F62 if you do a lot of spefic price changes or other changes often that are not reflect in home featured, then you can change the block featured code to bypass using cache...I can supply that code here if you want to modify it. Like This PrestaShop Malware Unauthorized File Change Monitor | Geo Targeting Pro | Private Shop B2B | ++ Hi El Patron, I'm using PS 1.5.4.1 and it doesn't have the button to clear the cache as shown in your image! I'm guessing there's another way to clear it! The code would be handy. Thank you.
