Miromst
Hi All, I'm trying to use a one page checkout on default template in Prestashop ver. 1.5.6.1. I would like to prevent Prestashop from remembering customers selection of the checkout (gust/new account) and also prevent Prestashop from remembering data previously filled in the delivery forms etc.. during the previously abandoned the checkout. What is happening: For example if I start checkout as a guest and will fill the delivery address form, then if I decide to abandon the checkout process or change the mind to checkout with creating an account I will loose this option. When I leave the checkout page and will come back even the next day, Prestashop still remembers my selection (guest/new account) and also remembers what I filled in the form fields. Is there an option that if customer leaves the checkout page and will come back later, Prestashop opens a fresh checkout page without any information remembered from the previous session (abandoned checkout process)? Thank you, Miroslav
El Patron
Hi Miroslav, I think it's your browser that remembers form data and not prestashop. If I am correct about your situation then you may find this useful: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/How_to_Turn_Off_Form_Autocompletion?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=How_to_Turn_Off_Form_Autocompletion
Miromst
Thank you El Patron, I have checked it, but unfortunately this is not the case. Just to give you an idea, please see attached screenshots. Screenshot 1 is very first checkout page / basket page.Screenshot 2 is the expanded page once i will make my selection guest/new account. Please note, this is particularly important only if guest checkout. I hope that I explained it a little better than in the previous post. Thank you for any Ideas.
