selectshop.at
This known problem is related to wrong or old Paypal API. See here the same question and possibly debugging: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/302013-500-internal-server-error-after-install/?do=findComment&comment=1535187

selectshop.at
If you are using PHP-version 5.3.8 on your server, you should upgrade Prestashop to the latest official version which is 1.5.6.2. There are some bugs related to this php-version and some controllers files.
sharm-tour
i use php version 5.3.3 should be this the problem? if i upgrade version, i lost my database product, with all configuration? (image, seo, theme, module ecc?)
selectshop.at
With php 5.3.3 there are no known issues. But you should upgrade to latest PS-Version. No, you will loose nothing. Simply upgrade with 1-click-upgrade module and follow the steps there. Before you make an upgrade please back-up your database and FTP securely on an external device, like your local machine. Do not trust on the modul back-up or roll-back. Sometimes due to very special server settings the upgrade fails and also the roll back and than the shop is broken. Therefore make an extra external back-up by your own ! If your theme is working with PS 1.5.6.1. so it will also work with PS 1.5.6.2. There are no changes on smarty, etc. Only some bugs were cleaned. Nevertheless the problem is on your Paypal-Api and not really on Prestashop. See here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/errorcodes/ cURL server module is installed and activated ? security_mode server module is deactivated ? allow_fURL_open server module is installed and activated ?
