Tip: how to hide the sub-categories in the left block.

The cataIog of my shop has excessive sub-categories.

 

For this reason, I want to hide the sub-categories in the left block of the FO. This is the version of my prestashop 1.5.6.1. Thank you to those who can help me.

you can define depth of the block.

 

go to modules > modules and search for block categories module. click on configure button near this module and you will see module configuration page. There is an option like:

use there "1"

with "1" it shows only main categories? does it work for you as you expected?
