Leo Theme : Background duplicate in footer, HOW TO FIX?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,  I have hopefully a quick fix issue with my theme. Somewhere I've accidentally changed something (probally global.css ??) in the title footer background, there now appears a duplicate below the original. It is below the line that reads: FREE SHIPPING & CALL US!.

The 2 images attached show how it looks, and how it looks in the original default theme.

The theme is Leo Converse. Could someone please point me in the direction of the code to be changed?  Is it a line-height rule?

Any help much appreciated. Tried many things but it is not changing.   Thanks, Matt.

Hi Vekia,    Yes, thats what I thought, and I have tried deleting text, but it had no affect.

Url is:  http://www.pix-8.co.uk/BIGhedz/

I also wanted to change the colour of the Login/ my wishlist/my account nav-bar (top of header),  but cannot find the right css file to change. Is it using the default global.css or the theme one?

Appreciate your help, thanks Matt.

Hi Vekia,   Thanks for that, I did take another look at the TEXT in the "leo advance footer module" , and noticed one line of it for the twiiter icon was not the same as the rest. I copied the code from the others to use (changed bits to "twitter") and it has worked, but as you will see from my file attached, it has changed the other text position "Call Us : 01142 880096" to be out of line - not in the middle.

Would you (or anyone reading this) be able to look at the html below and advise what the problem is?

This should hopefully help anyone else with a similar problem.  Cheers, Matt.

LOF ADVANCE CUSTOM FOOTER

<div class="custom-pos1">
<h2 class="shipping">FREE SHIPPING: orders over £20.00  </h2>
<h2 class="call">Call Us:<span>01142 880096</span></h2>
<ul>
<li class="twitter"><a href="#">Twitter</a></li>
<li class="rss"><a href="#">rss</a></li>
<li class="facebook"><a href="#">Facebook</a></li>
<li class="skype"><a href="#">Skype</a></li>
</ul>
</div>

  • 2 weeks later...

For anyone who gets similar problem, the fix to get the text back in the centre was altering the html code in the module config editor. It needed to have the  span<  part added before and after the word.

Will update with exact code as soon as i regain access to Modules folder....!!!

Can anyone please tell me how to enable this block please ?

The block where it said: "Free Shipping ... " and " Call Us"

I installed the theme and I think I didn't do it right so this block is not displaying.

Thank you
