Email problems after upgrading to PS 1.5.6.2 from PS 1.5.6.0

Hi,

 

I just upgraded to PS 1.5.6.2 from PS 1.5.6.0. All my email notifications have stopped working (Account Creation, Order Confirmation, Merchant Notification, etc.). I have switched between smtp and php mail() settings and back to no avail (the test email is delivered in both cases). I am using Mail Alerts v3.2.

 

I look forward to receiving some help with this issue.

 

P.S. During the upgrade, no errors were generated. The upgrade occurred seamlessly.

Same problem here, no notification to shopowner, only to client!

In my case, not even the client gets an email notification. The whole email system seems to have just stopped working.

Same issue here, No notification emails to client or shopowner, the contact form works and sends the emails.

Guys check the capital letters of the password. in my case, only work with lowercase password. WEIRD!!

 

try to change the mail password to lowercase.

I had to switch to mail() instead of manual SMTP configuration. Now everything seems to be working fine.

I got this same issue on prestashop 1.5.6.2 and at the time of installation i used my personal email address to setup the shop and everytime i was trying to send a test email  from BO it was using my yahoo email address to send emails , i tried to change it but lt wasn't updating in the database, so i manually changed the email address in ps_configuration table -> PS_SHOP_EMAIL and it worked for me.
