Which version of Prestashop?

Hi,

I am currently using prestashop version 1.3.5.0 and would like to upgrade it. I am told by one of the prestashop developers that a newer version 1.6 will be out in March. But I have heard very good things about the latest version 1.5 and that there will not be much difference between 1.6 and 1.5.

I would like to make my shop responsive with a template that would need some modification to fit the theme of the store.

What do you guys suggest? Should I want till March for version 1.6 or should I go with version 1.5 and then try to find a template that is responsive?

I would go with 1.5 since it is much more mature than 1.6 will be in a few months.

I second bellini. Just make sure you first upgrade manually to 1.4, then to 1.5 using te auto upgrade. Just to make sure changes are gradual (and increase the...success rate )

for now - if i were you i will chose always latest version from 1.5.x release now: 1.5.6.2
