Blanc page on upgrading

Hi:

 

I have a site http://ledlightingshop.biz that is running good on version 1.5.0. I tried upgrading to 1.5.1 and ended up with a blanc website. No error messages. I had to restore the site from backup.

 

Now I tried to upgrade to 1.5.2 and had the same result.

 

P.S. I could access the back office on both cases.

 

What is causing this? 

 

The worst part is that the 1-click upgrade that would have helped me 'roll back' was not available in both cases in the modules section.

 

Please someone help. I am afraid that there may be some security issues that have been corrected, so I want to update.

Have you made an backup?

Yes, my ISP does daily backups and I just had made a request to restore the site to an earlier date.

 

I am afraid that I am losing any security updates and so would like to upgrade to 1.5.2.

 

I am not sure why my site cannot be updated?
